Takeaway and Delivery Guide to San Giovanni Rome

The best takeaway and delivery options in San Giovanni Rome:

  • Santo Palato- One of the best new Roman trattorias with the young and talented chef, Sarah Cicolini, is open for delivery and takeaway - and has been almost from the very beginning. There’s no better news than that except that their menu has remained almost exactly the same, including the dish that put them on the map in the first place - their mouth-watering lasagna. Featured in almost every food and travel blog in Italy and abroad, there are only three words to describe this 3-meat lasagna: To. Die. For.

  • Piccadilly – This stylish, sophisticated Roman restaurant and cocktail bar has a refreshing menu of creative Italian dishes with a focus on seafood - cooked and raw. And with their new delivery service, you can have fresh oysters delivered right to your door! Also available for takeaway.

  • Kubla Khan – This brand-new Mediterranean Bistro unfortunately opened up right before the lock down of Italy. While you can’t check out their dark, sexy interiors yet, you can sample some of their exotic food offerings ranging from: Spanish tapas, gyoza, tacos, and tartare. While the menu is internationally inspired, there’s still a hint of Romano which can be found with their pinsa and Kubla (sushi) rolls of l’amatriciana, parmigiana, and burro e alici. All available for takeaway and delivery.

  • The Gipsy Bar – This bohemian lounge inspired by Paris and jazz of the early 1920’s is bringing more than just Sushi & Mixology to your home. When you order their ‘Gipsy at Home’ (available for delivery and takeaway) you not only have a really impressive list of sushi to choose from – you’re also getting the entire Gipsy Bar experience. From the branded delivery bag and contents to their ‘Gipsy Feelings’ Spotify Playlist - these guys have managed to recreate their unique atmosphere and concept with food, cocktails, packaging and music. Really creative and incredibly thoughtful and personal. And the closest thing we all have until we are able to experience the real deal in person again. Which will hopefully be soon…
